Outreach Special Projects

 Adopt A Family
Eligible candidates, identified by the caseworkers, are placed on a list. If you decide to volunteer for this project you will then coordinate your efforts with the caseworkers as well as with the director. Tasks are completed to ensure that these names are placed on the Christmas tree located in the Church. Once this is done then comes the task of preparing the donated gifts for the individual's family. This involves organizing  the gifts and then ultimately distributing them to the family's as they come into the outreach center to pick them up.

Thanksgiving Basket

Caseworkers determine the need of the individual families and then place these eligible families  on a list.  If you decide you want to volunteer for this project then you will work with caseworkers in preparing the food baskets based on the needs of the family. Then when the families arrive at the outreach center they are matched up with the names on the list along with the proper ID shown by the family member and given there basket .
