Children’s Christmas Choir
For the 4:00 pm Christmas Eve Children’s Mass
Children in 2nd to 6th grade are invited to participate in the Children’s Choir and the Candlelight Procession for the Christmas Eve Children’s Mass at 4:00 pm! You will accompany Fr. Mel in the Gathering Procession around the Church as he places Jesus in the manger, then proceed to the choir area to sing as a choir for the remainder of mass. The children will sing the mass and traditional carols, as well as three songs of their own: This is Jesus, An Angel Came from Heaven, and Go, Tell it On the Mountain.
This is a busy time for the kids and parents, so we’re trying to make things easy this year in hopes that we can get 40 children to participate.
Here’s all you need to do to be a part of this fun and special celebration!

REQUIREMENTS:
- Last day to register is December 16th, using the online form below. That way you have enough time to learn the music.
- You must commit to learning the music for the mass ON YOUR OWN by listening to the recordings provided. Children learn by repetition. The songs can be found at the end of this section, and you can listen to them on your device.
- You must attend at least 1 of 2 rehearsals. Dates and times:
Tuesday, December 17th from 5:30 – 6:30 pm
Saturday, December 21st from 10:00 – 11:00 am
- It’s expected that you will come to rehearsal knowing the songs. If you do not attend a rehearsal, you may not participate in the choir.
- You must arrive for the Christmas Eve mass by 3:00 pm. The choir is limited to 40 voices, so register early!!
